Unfortunately we couldn't perform our stockmarket show at the Electundra audio visual festival - as the markets are closed on the weekend when the festival was held!! Instead we were asked to put something original together anyway. So the result was a mix of politics, parody and retextualisation! The music and visuals are all original and produced by myself, the video was shot by Nick and graded and edited by myself. Thanks to the willing actors and other helpers! The visuals were mixed solely by Nick on the night. He had the help of the ipod touch, and audio feed from the mixing console, and various other controllers. Its been quite a big month for my Audio Visual partnership Feedback Loop. Firstly we did a second showing of our stockmarket driven documentary/DJ mix on the 18th of November at Loop Bar. This work is dependent on a stock market feed driving the sound and visuals in certain ways. I produced the music and visuals and Nick provided the accompaning words and mix the visuals on the night.
