In this one I was mainly interested in the percussion - the bass drum is a water bottle I sampled. I stole the idea off a very cool blog and wanted to see if I could recreate it myself.

Another work in Progress, this one is for a dance piece I am designing the sound for. The choreographer really liked the song 'Thats Entertainment' by the Jam, but the lyrics weren't really appropriate so the only solution - a good old fashion mash up. I am trying to work on structure of music and sound at the moment. So although this strucutre is a little bit unorthodox and quite simple, its nice to be fitting things into blocks and playing with chords changes a little bit.

This is even more of a work in progress than normal!!! The reason for most of these being unfinished, unpolished, cut off half way through, is because up until next week I've only had a demo copy of live. So maybe when the real thing arrives, I will be able to save my projects and work on them over a period of time!!!
This piece was just about playing with the new analogue synth trying to get as fat a sound as possible and fit it in with drums and higher stuff. It sort of works there are some nice parts but maybe too much distortion!!!
